Project Spotlight: Henkel Offices
The Project
Ceilings are often overlooked in interior design, yet they offer a unique opportunity for creative expression. At Henkel’s offices, the boardroom and meeting room required more than just functional design—they needed spaces that supported clear communication for both in-person and virtual meetings. The challenge was to deliver acoustic performance while creating an engaging visual element that broke away from the standard flat ceiling.

Grid Ceiling Tiles
The Solution
Autex Acoustics® provided a tailored approach using Grid Ceiling Tiles Vault in Empire, a solution that combines acoustic treatment with aesthetic appeal. The design introduced variation in shapes, transforming the ceiling into a dynamic surface with rising and dipping forms. This repetition of shape and colour created a sleek, professional look that flowed seamlessly across both the boardroom and smaller meeting room. By integrating acoustic panels into the ceiling design, the spaces achieved optimal sound clarity without compromising on style.
The Result
The Henkel offices now feature meeting spaces that balance functionality and creativity. The acoustic treatment ensures occupants can speak, hear, and collaborate effectively, while the visually striking ceiling design creates an environment that inspires innovation. This project demonstrates how acoustic solutions can go beyond performance—becoming a design feature that enhances the overall experience of a space.
